Open Garden

Good garden design is often about editing out as much as adding in. Here, the spectacular building and key garden elements such as the two mature oak trees had become obscured by overgrown shrubbery. In the front garden, a laurel thicket was removed and replaced with a selection of interesting specimen trees. In the back garden, trees were shaped and borders created to give the garden a sense of flow and year-round interest.
